I'm a big lover of fake tan. Being from Ireland, my natural skin tone is a pale shade of blue and even paler during the winter months. I am always on the look out for new tanning products. This one cropped up in conversation with a friend recently. I had never even heard of it, so I did a little bit of investigating and discovered it's an Irish product - even better. It seemed it's instant tan had a great name for itself but I had no idea how the developing tan would turn out?
It's pretty moderately priced at €15.99 and you can buy it in McCabes pharmacy. Armed with my mitt, I set about applying it that evening. It has a spray nozzle and as it has a watery consistency, I sprayed the product directly onto the tan mitt rather than my skin. Its slightly tinted which helps with application and doesn't dry too quickly. This also gives you a chance to buff this into the skin evenly. Overall it feels very light on the skin and doesn't feel sticky or damp after application. When I woke the next morning, the first thing I noticed was that there was no fake tan smell. Big bonus, especially if you like to throw on layer of tan before a special occasion. The second thing I noticed was the pay off from the tan, was as if I had gotten a spray tan from a salon. I couldn't believe how dark it had developed. It has a very natural glow and I was delighted to find I had no streaks either.
I didn't take any before and after pictures because I already had a couple of layers of the Dove gradual tan on. I will take some next week and add them to this post so you can see for yourself. All in all I love this product and it will definitely be one of my go to products. Especially with summer just around the corner.
